Spread the love with these tasty ideas.

DOG TREATS: Did you know you can use peanut butter to make treats for your pup?

Just make sure it doesn’t contain xylitol, a sugar substitute found in some brands, which is harmful to dogs.

Mix together two cups of flour, half a cup of peanut butter and two eggs.

Then add a little water to bind together as a dough.

Roll out the mixture and cut shapes — a set of bone-shaped moulds ia £1.67 from Cakedecoratingcompany.co.uk.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 15 minutes, then allow to cool (recipe from Puppyleaks.com).

COOKIES: This three-ingredient recipe from Tesco is simple to make, so get the kids involved.

You need peanut butter (200g), golden caster sugar (175g) and one large egg.

Mix the ingredients in a bowl and add a pinch of salt.

From the mixture, take biscuit-size pieces and press them down on baking paper on a baking tray.

Space the cookies out and pop into a preheated oven of around 180C and bake for between ten and 15 minutes until golden.

Wait until cooled before enjoying your creations — the recipe will make around 16 cookies, depending on size.

SATAY SAUCE: Peanut butter tastes delicious when made into a chicken satay sauce and takes very little effort with this Herbeevore.com recipe.

Simply whisk or blitz equal quantities of peanut butter and rice vinegar — around one third of a cup — plus one tablespoon of soy sauce.

If the mix seems too thick add a little water.

Cook chicken as normal and coat in the sauce at the last minute or use it as a dipping sauce on the side.
